Kingsville

Historic Kingsville, located in south Texas, is just outside the main gate of the famous King Ranch. The old rail depot has recently been renovated and turned into a museum. The old ice house is also a museum and can be rented out for conferences. Texas +show all A&I University was incorporated into the Texas A&M System and is now called Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Kingsville is a mecca for birders and hunters who are traveling to their favorite haunts. You can find Painted Buntings, Crested Caracaras, and even Great Kiskadees. Eating in one of the restaurants in town, you could be sitting next to a world-renowned wildlife researcher, the funniest preacher, or a neighborhood kid and his pals. Kingsville has seen it's fair share of important people in the realm of wildlife and conservation for the United States.
