this is my country! for first timers who are not the most hardy travellers, and unless partaking in the typical spring break group thing, i recommend going with a local or sticking close to a trusted one as it can be dangerous. that aside, my country is beautiful and people gracious. for those who indulge (you know you do), apparently this is where the best is (and i don't just mean jerk pork or chicken!). anyway, i couldn't comment :)

Beautiful Island in the sun where i was born and raised til 1988. I recommend that if u go, go as a tourist and stay to the north side of the island.
