Turks and Caicos Islands

This trip was wonderful, i love this island

Absolutely beautiful beaches. Off all of the beaches in the world I've visited, it's the second most beautiful! And that's saying a lot!

Beautiful beaches

Turks and Caicos Islands - Hurricane Hanna hit the islands in 2008 and we went in 2009. I couldn't believe that some parts still remain so beautiful under such devastation. Too much recovery efforts and construction going on when we were there. At the same time...we can appreciate what a hurricane impact can really do and not visiting the island would have been almost a diservice to them. It's not their fault what happened. I'm sure the passengers visiting the island and promoting financial support by means of souvenir purchases and eating at Margaritaville (which clearly does not seem to be suffering in business) will only help in their recovery. Again, I recommend booking an excursion. We rode motorized bikes and did some snorkeling. It was incredibly fun. I am positive that once this island reaches full recovery, it will really be something to see. I rated it bad for only this reason due to the devastation.

Beautiful Beaches,,, Not lots to do.. But a beautiful Island. I am ready to go back there.

I visited Turks & Caicos in 1993 while staying at Club Med. What a beautiful island...and the water is 90 degrees.
