What is your favourite/secret place in Lisbon/ Lisboa? We're spending 5 days in Lisboa. What is your recommendation to see, where to eat, where to listen to Fado etc.

  You must go to Sintra, Colares, Mafra in Lisbon area, if possible go to Setubal, to see all the Arrabida landscape. Cultural go to Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and Casa-Museu Medeiros e Almeida.

  In Lisbon you can see several buildings of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries as the Jeronimos Monastery, Belem aTorre and the castle of St. George.

  I absolutely hated Lisbon I went three years ago and i never want to go back it was horrible. if you can go to other cities in portugal go!

  I'd recommend taking day trips to Cabo da Roca, Sintra and Caiscas - I actually enjoyed these places far more than Lisbon (although Lisbon itself is great too...)
