Travel Talk Question

Heading to Delhi and Rajasthan in two weeks. Right now, planning to visit Agra, Ranthambore, Pushkar and Udaipur, but I wanted to ask while there's still time to change the itinerary: any less obvious, don't-miss "gems" that most tourists don't visit?

I agree with people before me - spend 6 months living in Rajasthan and Jaipur, Jaisalmer are wonderful. I also really, really recommend Bundhi as a hidden gem with amazing architecture and charm;-) Enjoy;-)

I also loved the pink city of Jaipur! and you shouldn't miss the lotus temple in Delhi... and some many more things to see in Delhi.
Have a good trip! -

We were considering Jaisalmer, but it seems like it's kind of at the other end of Rajasthan. Is it worth cutting out one of the other destinations to go there?

consider amritsar, from there you can see the sikh golden temple, a british massacre site, and the border ceremony with pakistan. we found the sikhs to be some of the friendliest and least pushy of all the indians

you should definitely try and visit the desert city of Jaisalmer. it is simply breathtaking and beautiful. and the old palace and forts are so amazing. it used to be called the 'golden city'....because it was made of yellowish sandstone/special kind of limestone which glimmered like gold. lol :) the camel rides there are famous
