Too Sweet. A delightful 'tourist town', formerly a British Hill Station; relief from the heat and dust on the plains. Book shops, restaurants, tea shops, a very complex marketplace with so much going on. And the lovely Dekeling Hotel where if the like you, they'll bring you TWO hot water bottles for your bed!
Most importantly, though, it's just a half hour or so drive from the monastery of Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche and a couple of hours from the monastery of Bokar Rinpoche in Mirik.
